“I used to really struggle with keeping Syd comfortable in hot weather (a reaction to the saliva of midges meaning one bite causes him to become incredibly itchy and can lead to hair loss and painful sores!) means that he has to be rugged from February to October but a few years ago I discovered @stinky_stuff! Not only does it stop him getting bitten by the midges (You can see the other horses swishing their tails but Syd and Belle do it noticeabley less when I have used SS!) but it soothes other itches and it promotes hair growth! I use it on both Syd and Belle as fly spray during heavy fly weather and generously on Syd’s mane, tail and belly when it is too hot for him to wear a rug. The horse that spent most of his life unable to go without a rug now gets to enjoy the sun on his back and a good roll! ☀️” team_belly
